    Our church has voted to begin using the “One Call Now” notification system to provide various types of pertinent information to our people, i.e. weather notices, meeting notices, immediate prayer needs, etc. One Call is a message service that provides (1) voice calls, (2) text messages and/or (3) e-mail notifications from the program coordinators. As the system grows and develops we will be able to send messages to not only the whole list of registrants, but also to subgroups within (for example: Youth Group, Choir, CTS, etc).

    In order to get the program set up we first need each family to register those that they want to be included in the messaging system. Secondly, the decision must be made for the methods of contact for which you wish receive messages (voice, text, and/or e-mail). You will not receive all three types of messages for every announcement, but the coordinators may choose which type of message to send based on the target group and what they have signed up for, so registering multiple contact types will provide greater flexibility within the system.
